Thanksgiving Turkey
Happy Thanksgiving! Today is such a special holiday. I love having the aroma of turkey baking in the oven, pumpkin pie baked and ready to slice Cranberry Champagne Cocktail in hand. I’ll have a large family group gathered around my dining room table and I always want to impress them with some of the special touches and beautiful details that I automatically supply for my clients. I always have a holiday Floral arrangement, good food and delicious desserts. This year I plan to cook something a little different than my usual turkey. This year I will serve Citrus Herb Baked Turkey and it’s so good I want to share my recipe with you. Click on “More” below and enjoy!!
Citrus Herb Baked Turkey
I found this recipe in the 1985 Southern Living Cookbook page 303 although I have made a few adjustments to it since then. I’ve always had rave reviews when I served this dish, try it and enjoy!
3 lbs. Turkey Breast
vegetable cooking spray
1/2 cup Orange Juice
1/4 cup Lemon Juice
1/3 Tsp. grated Orange Rind
1/3 Tsp. grated Lemon Rind
1/2 Tsp. Fresh Thyme
1/2 Tsp. Fresh Tarragon
1 Tsp. Garlic Powder
1 Tsp. Paprika
1/4 Tsp. Black pepper
1/2 Tsp. Salt
Cover and bake for approx. 1 hour @ 350 basting every 15 minutes. Thicken Pan Drippings with Corn Starch to make a creamy sauce. Happy Thanksgiving!

Your recipes and style are fantastic! None of your information or decor is “cookie cutter”. I love it!
